Blue Control® Products

Blue Control® anti-sapstain chemicals have been developed to meet the needs of New Zealand timber and log processors and exporters.

Blue Control® OC

Contains oxine copper, formulated as a soluble concentrate. It is similar in some respects to traditional oxine-copper formulations but contains a much higher concentration of oxine copper (2.5 times more) and has been specially formulated to achieve the additional benefits described below.

Blue Control® OF

Contains oxine copper plus fenpropimorph formulated as a soluble concentrate. The formulation has been specifically designed to provide protection for logs but can also be used on sawn timber.

Blue Control® Plus

Contains oxine copper and chlorothalonil as a one pot system for the long term protection of green sawn timber. The copper and chlorothalonil are present at the desired ratio for best performance in export conditions.


Major Features of Blue Control® Products
  • Concentrate and working solutions are true solutions (except Blue Control® PLUS)
  • Biocides are stable under normal conditions
  • Concentrates and working solutions have stable pH (active ingredients do not precipitate under normal operating conditions)
  • They contain neither surfactants nor organic solvents. They are easily stored even at zero or lower temperatures
  • Very simple to mix and use
