Protim® Optimum treated timber is guaranteed for 25 years* against insect activity and fungal decay when timber is exposed to H3.1 situations. When used in H1.1 situations, the guarantee is against insect activity only.
This is conditional on the timber having been treated to meet or exceed the requirements of New Zealand Standard NZS3640 or Australian Standard AS1604 series in the respective countries.
